About me
I am a mother and grandmother, long-term member of the open community at Findhorn, and a Findhorn Fellow. I live between Edinburgh and Findhorn, commuting regularly between the two.
My healing practice is based on a lifetime dedicated to exploring the soul and our innermost experiences and feelings. Our wounds are often doorways to our deepest spiritual resources. I trained originally as a medical doctor. When I completed my basic training I worked in psychiatry in Dingleton Hospital in the Scottish Borders, then Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow. After my two children were born, I trained in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy. This approach has given me a deep trust that within us we have all the resources we need for our own healing and spiritual growth.

Following a deep spiritual experience I trained in various transpersonal approaches, which gave me an understanding of the spiritual dimension. A calling to work more with the body led to me embarking on a four-year training with the Barbara Brennan School of Energy Healing in Europe. I combine these different approaches in my healing work, believing in the importance of presence, creating a warm and supportive relationship within which you will feel safe to reveal your innermost vulnerability, and discover your essential wellbeing and soul gifts. I offer healing support to release any blockages restricting the flow of your emotions and life force, and help you to make a deeper connection with yourself and find a place of true homecoming.

There is a spiritual potential which resides in us all. I call this our Divine essence, inner spark or soul. Getting to know ourselves at this level, connects us to the universal energy (God, Spirit, the Divine), which restores our life force, brings healing, and strengthens our capacity to live fully and joyfully. The journey of healing is a deeply personal journey but we can be supported at every level so that our deepest potential can be revealed, releasing new places of vitality, so that we can shine, as we open our hearts to all of life, and to loving ever more fully and deeply.
